About me
I completed my studies in the international physiotherapy programme of Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Since I was a child I have loved to move and to help people, and during my school years I also discovered my interest in healthcare. That is why I started studying physiotherapy after secondary school. I gained work experience in several areas, which gave me the chance to deepen the basic manual therapy techniques I had learned at university, such as the Maitland, McKenzie and Mulligan approaches, which I combine with active functional exercise.
A good relationship with my patients is important to me, because it lets us work together holistically and with the person at the centre during one-to-one treatment. In my view a good relationship also plays a key role in how effective treatment is. I feel that professional development and learning, and getting to know different points of view, are essential so that I can offer my patients the most suitable therapy possible.
