Deák Borostyán
About me
I studied physiotherapy at the University of Pécs, where my view grew stronger that movement is one of the most important tools for staying healthy and for rehabilitation. Movement has always been a defining part of my life: through dance I experienced the importance of conscious movement, perseverance and good body awareness. That experience played a big part in my choosing physiotherapy as a profession. My professional interest centres on spine problems and on musculoskeletal complaints related to sport and everyday load.
In my work I aim not only to reduce pain but also to uncover the movement deviations behind the complaints, and to help the body work better with personalised therapy. A key professional goal of mine is to master the manual therapy approach and its assessment and treatment methods as thoroughly as possible. To this end I keep developing my knowledge and am starting my manual therapy training, so that in the future I can support my patients’ recovery with more and more up-to-date methods and techniques and an even more complex approach.
During treatment it matters to me that every patient gets real, individual attention and can take part in our work together in a supportive atmosphere built on trust. I believe that open communication, active cooperation and a well-structured, personalised treatment plan are the basis of successful rehabilitation. My goal is for my patients to achieve not just temporary improvement, but to move more confidently, more freely and, where possible, without pain in the long term.
