How long does it take from the main points?

BudapestGO journey planner queries from October 2026, leaving at 10:00 on a Monday morning, fastest suggested route:

From About Route in short
Széll Kálmán tér (M2) 9 to 13 min bus or tram to Budagyöngye, no change
Déli railway station 14 to 16 min tram 61, no change
Hűvösvölgy 17 min tram 61, no change
Deák Ferenc tér 19 min M2 to Széll Kálmán tér, then bus
Nyugati railway station 21 min tram 4 or 6 to Széna tér, then bus
Keleti railway station 25 min M2 to Széll Kálmán tér, then bus
Kelenföld railway station 31 min train to Déli, then bus, two changes
Népliget coach station 40 min M3, M2, then bus
Liszt Ferenc Airport, Terminal 2 57 min 100E airport bus, M2, then bus

Two queries from Déli gave two different times (14 and 16 minutes), which is why a range is shown. Journey times vary with the timetable, the time of day and traffic; check BudapestGO before you set off.

Do you need a separate ticket for the airport bus?

Yes. BKK requires a separate ticket for the 100E airport line; a standard single ticket or a pass is not enough for it. Check the exact ticket type and price on bkk.hu before you travel, as fares can change. From the city centre, the metro and buses take the usual ticket or pass.

Is it worth walking from Széll Kálmán tér?

If you have the time, yes, but it is not a short stroll. From Széll Kálmán tér to the clinic is about 2.2 to 2.6 km depending on the route, roughly 30 to 34 minutes on foot, with a gentle climb. If a longer walk or the slope puts a strain on your condition, take one of the buses or trams instead: they get here in two or three stops.

What if you come by car?

By car, outside rush hour, it takes about 6 minutes from Széll Kálmán tér. The area around the clinic is a paid parking zone, but there are free stretches a few streets away, and the Budagyöngye underground car park is close by. Fees, time limits and the car park entrance are covered in the Pasarét parking article.

If you are coming from a hotel or from outside Budapest, this article sums up the stations and other starting points further away.

What has the clinic not confirmed yet?

The clinic is on the ground floor; at the entrance, ring the bell marked MozgásKlinika. Whether the entrance is step-free has not yet been confirmed. If this matters to you, for example because of a walking aid or a pushchair, write to info@mozgasklinika.hu or see the directions page, where confirmed details will appear.

It is worth arriving 5 to 10 minutes early so your first visit can start calmly. If you have not been to us before, the first visit article explains what to expect.

MozgásKlinika’s other District II clinic is at Retek utca 26, by Széll Kálmán tér; this article shows the way there.
