Házmán utca is in a paid parking zone: 400 Ft an hour on working days, for up to 3 hours, payable only by phone. The nearest garage is below Budagyöngye, entered from Pázsit utca, at 300 Ft per started hour. A few nearby streets are free.
Prices are set by the operator or the district, not by MozgásKlinika, and are subject to change. Checked 2026-10-24.
How much does street parking cost around the clinic?
Based on the District II parking ordinance (14/2010 (VI. 24.), as amended by 31/2025 (X. 30.), in force from 1 January 2026) and the Budapest parking ordinance (30/2010 (VI. 4.)):
- Rate: 400 Ft an hour in the zone around the clinic. This applies to Házmán utca, Volkmann utca, Pázsit utca, Lotz Károly utca, Küküllő utca, Gábor Áron utca, Torockó utca and the nearby part of Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor.
- Paid hours: the ordinance says working days 8:00 to 18:00. The zone map and some street signs show 8:30, so always follow the sign on the spot.
- Maximum stay: 3 hours in this zone.
For a 60-minute assessment, allow roughly an hour and a half including getting in and out, which comes to about 600 Ft. A 50-minute treatment costs a little less.
How do you pay in 2026?
Budapest parking has been cashless since 1 July 2026. Instead of a meter, you pay with a mobile app, by text message or by a phone call. The zone’s text code around the clinic is 0203, and 0207 on roads run by the city. Check the code on the sign as well, because the operator can change from one corner to the next.
Where can you park for free nearby?
According to the zone map, a few nearby streets, or most of them, are outside the paid zone: Monda utca, Napos út, Mese utca and Hidász utca, plus some stretches of Hűvösvölgyi út and Budakeszi út. They may still have residents’ bays, bans or time limits, and map data is not a check on the ground, so read the signs there too. Stopping is banned along much of the busy main roads, and free spaces can fill up quickly during the day.
What should you know about the Budagyöngye garage?
- Entrance: Pázsit utca. (Between 10 and 20 August 2026, during renovation, cars entered from Házmán utca for a while; that no longer applies.)
- Rate: 300 Ft for every hour or part of an hour, Monday to Saturday; pay by card at the machines.
- Electric charging: the shopping centre lists charging points.
- Walk to the clinic: about 1 minute.
- Opening hours, number of spaces, height limit and disabled spaces: not published by the centre. Its shops open 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays, so for an early morning or evening appointment it is worth asking ahead whether the garage is open.
Is there park and ride nearby?
If you are coming in from the Buda hills, there are two P+R car parks at the Hűvösvölgy terminus (Budapest Közút Zrt.):
- P1: 66 spaces, 500 Ft per stay between 6:00 and 22:00;
- P2: 80 spaces, free, camera-monitored.
From there, tram 61 takes about 16 to 17 minutes to Budagyöngye (BudapestGO, October 2026). This works well if you want to avoid the paid zone and do not mind the tram ride.
Szent János Hospital’s own car park is about 900 metres away; the first 15 minutes are free, then 250 Ft per 15 minutes. For an hour’s treatment that is dearer than the nearby streets, so it mainly makes sense if you are going to the hospital anyway.
What about a disabled parking card?
Benefits for card holders are set by national law, not by the clinic. We have not checked street by street what they mean around Házmán utca; OpenStreetMap shows a few marked bays within 700 metres. If the card matters to you, the district’s customer service can give a precise answer.
What has the clinic not confirmed yet?
The clinic has not said whether it has parking of its own. It is on the ground floor, but whether the entrance is step-free has not yet been confirmed. Confirmed details will appear on the directions page.
