From outside Budapest or a central hotel, MozgásKlinika Pasarét is usually 20 to 30 minutes away by public transport, mostly with one change at Széll Kálmán tér. From Déli railway station, tram 61 brings you here without changing; from the airport the trip takes about an hour.

BudapestGO journey planner data from October 2026, leaving on a Monday morning. Journey times vary with the timetable and traffic.

Déli is the easiest starting point: if you arrive by train from Lake Balaton or western Hungary, a single tram takes you to the clinic. From Keleti and Nyugati, allow for one change. Suburban Volánbusz coaches also stop at Budagyöngye; BudapestGO or the Volánbusz timetable shows whether there is a direct coach from your town.

What should you watch for if you come from the airport?

BKK requires a separate ticket type for the 100E airport line; a standard single ticket or a Budapest pass is not valid on it. The Budapest Airport website explains how to find your way between terminals and the other options. After landing, leave a buffer for baggage reclaim and possible delays: if you fly in on the same day, book an afternoon or next-day appointment.

How long is the trip from central hotels?

We do not recommend or rank any hotel. In October 2026 the Hotelstars Union register for Hungary listed 190 classified hotels in Budapest (22 five-star, 109 four-star, 59 three-star). About a dozen hotels lie within 3 km of the clinic; from these the trip takes 13 to 22 minutes by public transport and 6 to 9 minutes by car. The times below are typical values measured from hotels in each area.

Area Public transport By car (no traffic)
Deák Ferenc tér, Vörösmarty tér, around the Basilica 22 to 26 min, M2 to Széll Kálmán tér, then bus 6 to 7.5 km, 12 to 13 min
Around Nyugati and the Grand Boulevard 21 to 28 min, tram 4 or 6, then bus 5 to 6 km, 10 to 11 min
Around Széll Kálmán tér and Buda Castle 9 to 20 min, often without changing 3 to 4 km, 6 to 8 min
In the Buda hills, around Normafa about 33 min by bus, via Széll Kálmán tér about 7 km, 13 min

How do you fit treatment into a trip to Budapest?

  • The first visit is a 60-minute assessment. This article explains what happens. Bring earlier reports, even on your phone.
  • If you are staying several days, after the assessment the therapist will tell you whether it makes sense to book further sessions in the following days, or whether you leave with things to do at home. No number of sessions is promised in advance.
  • Cancelling: free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, so let the clinic know early if a late train or a cancelled flight gets in the way. Details are in the booking article.
  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 20:00. Treatment is in Hungarian or English.

How can you pay, and can you get an invoice?

You can pay in cash, by bank card, with a SZÉP card or with a Hungarian health-fund card, and passes can also be bought online (SimplePay). If you need an invoice for a foreign insurer, a health fund or a company, ask in advance at info@mozgasklinika.hu. Prices are covered in this article.

What should you check before you set off?

The stops and the walking route are in the directions article, and drivers should read the parking article. The clinic is on the ground floor: ring the bell marked MozgásKlinika. Whether the entrance is step-free has not yet been confirmed; see the directions page. The address is 1026 Budapest, Házmán utca 4.
